You can expect more of raw melodies, atmospheric rage and cold anguish mixed with the typical "Under That Spell" trademarks.

The concept of the album and the lyrics will be built on several influences of the master „William Blake“…!

UNDER THAT SPELL finished the recordings of their second album.
The final mastering by Markus Stock is done.
It will be titled BLACK.SUN.ZENITH.
You can expect 45 minutes of true melancholy, hate and tragedy in a cold, raw and very aggressive Black Metal sound.

BLACK.SUN.ZENITH will be released in autumn this year and there will be also a tour in the beginning of 2012!

Debut-album "APOTHEOSIS" - release and information

We proudly announce that our debut-CD "APOTHEOSIS" is available from the
15th of December this year! Since then you can order it through the bandpage. (http://www.underthatspell.com) or through the official mailorder of
War Anthem Records (http://www.cudgel.de).

What expects you are 47 minutes and nine tracks of the purest Black Metal
experience! Truly dark and emotional music will let you immerse into the
realms of the apotheosis!
Lyrically the album refers to the increase of the individual and its rise
onto a godlike level of being. Based on this, the lyrics will amplify the
band's concept of an apparently dead world, where the modern way of living
will lead the spiritual demise.

In order to this UNDER THAT SPELL will play an exclusive release-gig on
January 23rd in Bitterfeld/Germany together with WANDAR and GEIST! For
further informations check out our homepage!

Also, you can expect us playing live during the summer period a couple of
times. Among others we will be part of the WOLFSZEIT FESTIVAL 2010
(September 3rd)!
